5 THINGS I'M LOVING AT THE MOMENT

I get asked all the time what products I use, places I eat, my favorite workout clothing brand and much more. I would like to take a moment and tell you about a few of my top fav’s right now.

1. Organic Burst superfood powders

I’ve been an Organic Burst user since I started my clean eating journey a year ago and absolutely swear by these products. They sell Maca, Spirulina, Wheatgrass, Baobab powders and Acai capsules. I add pretty much all the powders to my green smoothies or if I’m having my clean pancakes or porridge I’ll add Maca powder for energy. I think this company has a great ethos and their products are high quality.

2. Lucy Bee coconut oil

As someone who used to be terrified of fats, I’m now on completely the other end of the spectrum and cannot go a single day without my coconut oil! I specifically like Lucy Bee because it’s a local English company and I’m all about supporting these type of companies! Of all the coconut oil I’ve tried so far, Lucy Bee is definitely one of the best in terms of the taste, smell, and creaminess of it. I personally use it in my recipes all the time like in oats, smoothies, and of course tons of my desserts like my decadent clean chocolate brownies and my raw cranberry cheesecake. I also use it as a moisturizer at night (after washing my skin) and swear by this. It has made all my fine lines go away. It helps reduce acne as an added benefit when put on the skin because of it’s anti-inflammatory benefits. I also use it in my hair to give it hydration and add shine.

3. Borough Market

Having lived in London for one and a half years, I had yet to ever visit Borough Market until a few weeks ago. Let me just say: it was love at first sight. This place is absolutely incredible and has anything and everything a girl like me could ask for! If you want vegan and gluten free cakes and biscuits, mountains of chocolate, organic fresh pressed juices, all the types of oils your heart could desire, spices, fresh fruit and veg, wine, and lots of amazing coffee shops…. then this is the place for you! If you’re not into any of these then best if you don’t go. Juuussst kidding. This place has everything and I promise it’s worth a trip down to London Bridge if you get a chance.

4. Pimped Out Water

I love my water, but there are times that I’m just not feeling it. This is when I pimp out my water. All this means is adding things like lemon slices, mint, rosemary, or fresh fruit to your water bottle/jug/mason jar, etc. I personally will take a jug and let my mint and cucumber sit overnight as it allows the flavors to really become alive. If you want to add even more pizzazz, try adding fresh ginger, some fresh lemon, a dash of stevia and plain soda water and mix. This is a refreshing way to get loads of vitamins and nutrients, it will give you extra energy from the ginger and lemon and it tastes like lemonade.

5. The Thrive Diet, by Brendan Brazier

I’ve read many books on healthy living and I will say that Brendan’s book is one of the best. It’s so interesting, easy to read and

you really can’t put it down. I ended up buying all his books after starting this one, it was that good. He goes into so much detail on what a clean eating lifestyle is, why you need to be doing it, how to start (this is the KEY!) and gives loads of amazing recipes. If I could ever recommend one single book it would be this one.
