A Birthday To Remember…
On June 10 I celebrated my birthday. I’m going to say I’m 28 years young. But secretly we can all agree I’m probably more like a 15 year old, or at least that’s the way I feel sometimes 🙂 I decided to throw a party so that I could get everyone I love into one place to spend some quality time with them all. I was so grateful that there are friends here from years ago, my mom flew in, my best friend from New York came, along with some new people that have come into my life!
The party was at a beautiful event space on Abbott Kinney in Venice. It was a beautiful party with beautiful energy and all of those closest to my heart. I managed to have friends from high school all the way to the newer people that I have met recently in LA.
My boyfriend and I decided it would be really fun to to get a photobooth, which everyone took advantage of greatly. It was SO much fun!
He managed to get some live music, where we listened to jazz and danced all night. The big surprise of the night was of a movie showing all my photos with friends, my modeling pics, yoga, and more. Below is him sitting with most of the lovely ladies at the party! Lucky guy!
Below is a picture of myself, Shayna- the coolest yoga teacher eva, and an old friend that I modeled with in Seoul, South Korea back in the day. We both live in LA now which is pretty cool. It’s amazing where life takes you and the people you meet along the way.
The food was divine. I chose not to go along the vegan route because it’s not necessarily how everyone else in my life eats, so we had beautiful fresh food that consisted of a menu I put together. there was this huge fish (no idea what it was because I don’t know my fish as I don’t it it), as well some meat dishes, cheeses, pizza, salads, grilled veggies and more. Yum!
Me and Monica, a darling friend!
My vegan birthday cake with one of my modeling photos on it. So cool.
Dancing the night away!
Of course, you have to be a little bit silly when it comes to your party. That’s my nature. I know people probably think I’m pretty serious when they see my youtube vids or on Insta, but I’m a pretty fun outgoing chick (as seen below haha).
And of course, a photo of a photo. We all took so many photos.
Getting DOWN on some cake. The cake was from Jamaica Cakes here in LA. Pretty good spot!
Saying a little thank you to everyone for being in my life. I am so beyond grateful for every person that I meet and the impact they have on my life.
My amazing friends, Julia and Shayna.
Making one heck of a wish! And hoping that I could blow them all out so it will come true!
And the morning after my birthday with some snuggles from SeaCat!
Overall, what an amazing birthday. I am so grateful to have the people in my life that I do. One of the best things about this birthday is all the exciting projects I have coming up and knowing that 28 is going to a spectacular year. I wanted to thank YOU all for keeping me inspired to share my stories, everything I learn, and being able to help so many of you. It has made me extraordinarily blessed and I will always be grateful for this.
With Love, N
