3 ingredient Healthy Pancakes

After seeing these delicious looking healthy pancakes posted on a fellow Instagrammer’s account, I decided to try them and was pleasantly surprised at how easy and good these were. If you are looking for a more flavorful variation there are many additions you can play with, but the recipe as follows is for the plain, no sugar added version.

If you are looking for a more flavorful variation there are many additions you can add, but the recipe as follows is for the plain, no sugar added version.

RECIPE

  • 2 egg whites
  • 30 g (1/4 cup) rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP water
  • 1TBSP raisins (optional)
  • Cinnamon (optional)

Mix these ingredients together in a bowl until the mixture looks pretty smooth. Heat pan and spray a bit of olive oil Pam (I love this stuff!). Cook for about 1 minute on each side. If you leave them on too long they become a bit too chewy.

For the topping, I took a few frozen strawberries, put them in small bowl, microwaved for around 60 seconds until partially melted.

Version with fresh fruit and cinnamon.
